Osama Observations

Seeing American's taking to the streets to celebrate the death of Osama bin Laden was like watching Kansas basketball fans storm the court in Allen Fieldhouse after beating Emporia State in an exhibition game.

It's not a matter of patriotism, rather a matter of inflating our enemy's ego. This is America. Systematically eliminating threats to our national security should not be cause for celebration. It should be viewed as business as usual. On to the next terrorist.

Regardless, the important thing is bin Laden is dead and I don't need to see his body to know this to be true. How do I know without a shadow of a doubt that bin Laden is dead? Imagine another terrorist attack were to take place tomorrow morning and, by the afternoon, Al Jazeera was playing video of bin Laden taking credit for the attack. Washington would burn to the ground. That's how I know.
